Government Departments' Management of Historic Heritage Project
In 2004 the government agreed to establish a policy for best practice for places of historic heritage value owned by government departments. Guidelines were developed for each department responsible for heritage places to guide the conservation and maintenance of these historically important sites. The guidelines have been individually tailored to suit the needs of each department. This process was completed in November 2005.
