Cultural Statistics Programme
This programme is operated by the Ministry for Culture and Heritage. It was established in 1995 to improve the range and quality of statistical information about the cultural sector. The information produced is designed to support cultural policy development, enhance decision making in the cultural sector and monitor trends over time.
The Cultural Statistics Programme is based on the New Zealand Framework for Cultural Statistics 1995.
