The majority of entries listed are New Zealand-funded. Artists and cultural workers from anywhere in New Zealand are eligible. A small number of overseas initiatives, for which New Zealanders are eligible, are also included. Unless otherwise stated, amounts are in New Zealand dollars.

New Zealand Major Events and the Major Events Development Fund
As New Zealand has a growing reputation as a world-class events destination, ensuring we remain competitive on the world stage is a key contributor to the prosperity of all New Zealanders. Through a dedicated fund, the Major Events Development Fund, the IAEG provides sponsorship funding to major events that build a dynamic nation and produce significant economic and social benefits. The New Zealand Major Events website provides an online service for the submission of funding applications.
